Upon arrival, I noticed the room had a musty smell, and there were some maintenance issues like the thermostat not working properly. Additionally, there was a lack of basic amenities such as an extra blanket and no maid service for several days. The hallway had repair debris, and the front entrance was not well cleared of ice and snow. However, I must say that when they managed to switch my room, it was very good despite the initial challenges.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room's location across the street from a float plane lake was rather pleasant, but it absolutely stunk of smoke, felt outdated, and simply dirty. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, but the check-in process and some staff interactions were not so good. The location was fantastic for the airport, but not ideal due to the lack of nearby services and eateries. The dining options were pretty poor overall. However, the hotel went out of their way to make my stay good, earning a perfect 10 for service.
